about
"Lovely" is the story of Alex and Andrea (The Zoo Incident). The album starts in February of 09 while we were in high school and starting to become friends. We took a trip to Southern California during Spring Break and in that week realized how perfect we were for each other. Our relationship began to intensify just in time for Andrea to graduate from our little high school and move to Albuquerque before the last days of class, leaving me to finish another year of high school. This album is our story together, of those good times, and those internal struggles. A love story lived together and written into music together.
